Description:

Offering some 95,000 square feet of exhibition space, the Mobile Museum of Art is the largest art museum set along the Gulf Coast. With art pieces spanning 5,000 years, the museum specializes in displays of Asian and African art, European paintings and sculpture, American art and decorative glass art. Apart from these permanent holdings, the museum has a sizable area dedicated to temporary themed art exhibitions. Set beside the museum, not far from the University of South Alabama, are the beautiful Mobile Botanical Gardens.
